After having a 5, 6 disaster days in international cricket KL Rahul finally get into track. With the overnight score of 31, Rahul went on to score a fabulous hundred. It is an innings of calm, composure, and patience. Rahul had a little bit of luck too in his innings of 110, where he was dropped at 46 by steve smith. Rahul made use of it mostly, in the last over before tea he achieved his maiden test hundred. In the post tea sesion he was dismissed on 110 by mitchell starc. India went on to finish at 342/5 still trailing by 230 runs with Virat Kohli and Wriddiman saha at the crease.
India still need 30 runs to avoid follow on. With Kohli batting on 140, it will be an easy task for India.
