Rohit Sharma's Record Outside SUbcontinent !!

RG Sharma who is considered as one of the best talents in present day cricket, has constantly failed to live upto his reputation. But his record at home is very good, where as his record outside subcontinent has fallen significantly down. He averages 65 in India with a mind-blowing strike of 99.38, but outside the subcontinent it has fallen to lower 70's.

Considering the fact that WC 2015 is going to held in AUS and NZ, India expects sharma to fire at the top of the order. Let us have a look at the RG Sharma's career in India and outside subcontinent

Outside Asia his record is not upto the mark. Especially his strike rate becomes very low. If you see his SR's in South Africa and New zealand, sharma didn't have a good run against SA, but he had a decent record against NZ, but with a very poor strike rate. This is a big big concern for India, but the best thing is he is improving as a cricketer in the recent times. As he is expected as opener for team India he need fire at the top of the order.

His record outside Asia is as shown below. Out of the 5 centuries he scored, 3 came in India and 2 against minnow Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe. He is yet to score a century against the big teams in their own backyard.

Interestingly he has a worst record in sri lanka too. He averages only 14.78 in Sri lanka where the conditions are similar to India. In Sri Lanka Rohit Sharma has managed to score only one half century out of 21 innings.
